The WWII Inspired Asian Restaurant is Participating in Miami Spice, Bringing that Gastronomical Experience to the Table!
Back Door Monkey, Wynwood’s new retro Asian restaurant, is bringing its Asian Fusion WWII flare to Miami Spice! The Back Door Monkey Miami Spice menu is filled with selected mouth-watering appetizers, unforgettable entrees, and sweet desserts that can be enjoyed on its weatherproof outdoor patio or in the comfort of your own home! Locals can savor the gastronomical 3-course meal all for $39.
Back Door Monkey will continue to serve its everyday menu with the option of the Miami Spice menu to choose from. Guests can complete their meal with a one-of-a-kind cocktail during its Happy Hour between Thursday to Saturday from 5 -7 p.m.
The Back Door Monkey outdoor patio option is Miami weatherproof and decked out with funky 1940s WWII inspired props that will surely make the experience fun and unique! The spacious seating area is the perfect spot to enjoy tasty dishes off of the Miami Spice menu featuring light bites like the Tuna & Octopus ceviche, with avocado, myoga, scallions, tomato, red onion, ginger, truffle ponzu; or the Citrus Kale & Manchego Cheese, with avocado, Roma tomato, cucumber, easter radish, ginger-carrot honey vinaigrette. Guests can then move on to the main course, which includes the Hamachi Serrano with crab salad, serrano pepper, chives, mango, yuzu-truffle mayo, red onion or the Salmon Teriyaki, made with jasmine coconut rice, sauteed bok-choy, lemongrass-ginger teriyaki! To end the meal on a sweet note, guests can choose between the chocolatey The Baking Lab Chocolate Chip Cookie made with Nutella, white chocolate, oreo cookie crumble, vanilla ice cream, or the Caramelized “Roasted” Pineapple, with vanilla-infused, ginger, vanilla ice cream, coconut crumble.
Back Door Monkey is currently opened Thursday through Sunday and closed Monday through Wednesday. Thursday through Saturday hours are 5 p.m. to 3 a.m., and Sunday hours are 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. Happy Hour is served from Thursday to Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m.
